They are mentioned frequently in the Qur’an and other Islamic texts. Jinn may b e malevolent , benevolent or neutral but they can also be tricksters. They are are also known as genies or demons in Islamic culture. These supernatural beings live in a world parallel to mankind. The name Jinn is from the verb “janna” which means to hide or conceal which is why many people have doubted their existence and they were also created before man.
Jinns can take on the form of anything from animals, nature and humans but they also have the ability to take over the minds and bodies of human beings, thus possessing and oppressing them. According to Qur’an, Jinn were created with fire and even though they are invisible to the naked eye (unless someone has the ability to see inter dimensional), they can very much so interact with people on the physical plane. According to Islam, Jinn, like humans, are gendered and have free will. Angels on the other hand have no free will and are considered neither male or female. Angels are made of light, Jinn are made out of fire and man is made out of earth. TYPES OF JINN (TO NAME A FEW) -Ifrit or Effrit is a jinn who supposedly fetched the throne of the Queen of Sheba at the command of King Solomon. This Jinn is evil in nature according to text and difficult to control. They are however, natural schemers as well and trickster spirits. -Jann is a type of jinn who is a shape-shifter and has the ability to take on the form of whirlwinds and desert storms. These were among the first of their kind to be discovered by people. Throughout history they have been known to protect armies they deem as righteous that travel through the desert and areas alike while impeding those they deem unworthy -Marid is a large powerful jinn that is also mentioned in pre-Islamic Arabian mythology. Like most jinn they have free will but they can also be enslaved. They have the ability to grant wishes to mortals but it requires battle, imprisonment, rituals and a lot of flattery -Shaitan or Shaytan (Iblis in Islam) is known as the Devil in Islamic belief. The Shaitan or Iblis is a jinn who refused to bow to Adam. This type of jinn has no power other than the power to cast evil suggestions into the chests of men, women and other jinn. Also considered a strong demonic force. However, many people who don’t believe there is a spiritual world fail to see what’s going on around them and that we are not alone.
Spirits or entities attach themselves to individuals all the time. Usually the entity or spirit will wait for a moment of weakness to strike and then feed on the individual’s energy for a period of time. The person will then start to become depleted in energy feeling lethargic, anxious and depression suddenly follows. This will happen until the person is fully possessed. Traditional family behaviors or reckless behavior of the person can cause their aura to be weakened also. Here are some signs of demonic/spirit attachment: MENTAL-changes in personality (sudden. usually very quiet) -attitude and actions may become hostile/ abusive and violent -saying disturbing things -self-mutilation -severe nightmares or night terrors -hurting animals -performing acts of humiliation -multiple personalities (due to multiple spirits and/or demonic attachment) -Blackouts in their memory PHYSICAL-lustful eyes -black eyes (eyes will become very dark and eventually black) -black or smokey aura field -constant drug-like state -Blank stare (doesn’t blink for long periods of time) -changes in facial features (face will begin to look different or morph) -catatonic -speaking other unknown languages -possess inhuman strength -sudden “psychic abilities” the individual does not possess naturally (reading thoughts also) -voice changes (multiple voices at same time) -levitation -changes in walk (usually gliding) However most of the signs listed here could be a sign of mental illness or psychological issues but most of the time it is spiritual in nature. Many individuals are more sensitive than others spiritually (ie. empaths, healers, etc. ) but possession and attachment can happen at any time in a person’s life where there’s vulnerability, pain or traumatic events. Also good for guidance,assistance with children and legal issues and also for any obstacles concerning communication and writing. Archangel Raphael- “God who heals.” This is the archangel to call upon for healing and he is also known as the medicine doctor. He is the angel of divine healing of the mind, body and spirit. Archangel Uriel- “Face of God.” Uriel is one of the angels who protected mankind from the watchers (fallen angels). He is also the angel of wisdom. He shines God’s truth into confusion and darkness. Archangel Zadkiel- “Righteousness of God.”Also the twin flame of Holy Amethyst. Together they are archangels of the seventh day.
