Quartz crystals have been used since ancient times. However, ancient people and civilizations intuitively understood the value and abilities of crystals and what they’re capable of. 
USES OF QUARTZ CRYSTALS
Since ancient times crystals have been used as powerful healing objects, medicine (in the form of elixirs), tools and much more. They were used as amulets and talismans and is still used in that way today. Quartz crystals are used to amplify, clarify and store energy. Their greatest use is and always has been their healing and protective properties and they have the ability to enhance the body’s energy fields. 
PIEZOELECTRICITY
“Piezo” means applied pressure-generated electricity, and quartz is the most economical source of this energy. The energy field of quartz and its ability to oscillate at a precise frequency is known as piezoelectricity.
